Today, I’ll be sharing my experience in optimizing WordPress speed for my WordPress website. You can compare the before and after effects of customization to understand the changes that have occurred. I’ll present the steps I took and the results I obtained after making various adjustments.
Before Advanced Speed Optimization
Before delving into advanced optimization techniques, I began by crafting multiple custom page layouts, incorporating new styles and scripts, and activating caching using the latest Speed Cache. Additionally, I utilized the NexGen image format with compression, while eliminating some default WordPress inline CSS.
Update 1 for Website Speed Optimization
In the first significant update, I migrated from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.1. Additionally, I implemented Cloudflare DNS for further improvements.
Details and progress will be visually represented in the following sections.
In this journal, I will provide periodic updates on the journey to optimize the speed of my website, making it faster and more efficient.
